Well my brother took my car away, because he needed it to go back to college first, as I had to help my parents with moving my grandfather around. My parents are unable to do so, especially that my dad has hernia. Anyways, a usual trip to Subang would take 1 hour 10 minutes if I am doing at 160-180 km/h constantly from Kampar to there. So compared with traditional transport, how long does it take? I started journey on an Express Bus at 8:30PM. Ticket cost RM15.10. Well the bus left on time and there was no traffic delay, but it had to detour past Tapah and Bidor, (neighbouring towns within 20-40km radius). That ultimately wasted 30 minutes on the road. So I took pictures of myself and used the laptop to access internet with my mobile phone connection to kill time surfing, MSNing and commenting blogs. It is kinda nice that you could take your mind off driving, however, the laptop battery would only cover 80% of the journey. The rest of the time, you have to be impatient and hopefully you arrive on time.
So I arrive in Pasar Seni LRT station, one stop before the Pudu Bus station at 11PM, 2 1/2 hours later. The Pasar Seni LRT station serves as point to catch a train to head back to Subang. So I depart from the bus and ran across the station. So I inserted RM2.10 into the ticketing machine and grabbed myself a ticket. So I waited shortly for a train and the train arrived at 11:20PM. I missed the first train, as I didn't ran for it. Train intervals are about 5 minutes. So I took the train to Kelana Jaya station. It took about 25-30 minutes to reach Kelana Jaya. Sadly there is no train station that leads all the way to my college in Sunway. So another transit now to continue my journey.
I meet up with my designated taxi driver and got myself sent back to Sunway on his taxi. Since I have been in his taxi a couple of times, I do get reasonable prices. Anyways, I was sent to my home, unloaded my luggage while the taxi driver waits for me. Later, I was driven to the college and it costs only RM10 in total. I give it, that this taxi driver is reasonable and he won't overcharge students. Its a sad thing that taxi drivers in the capital city charges ridiculous prices to turn off tourists.
