Yesterday, late at midnight, we (Team Kansei and I) decided to head out to Bukit Tinggi for a brief touge, right after our TT session in Damansara Mutiara. Well, they wanted a short route, plus Azuri had work on Sunday and I have never been to Bukit Tinggi myself, so I had to see for myself.
We initially met up on the foot of the hill, for a regular pee and smoke session. Then after we had our session, Azuri went first in his 4G92 SOHC Proton Satria, being chased persistently by Mizan's Suzuki Swift with a Starlet 4ETE engine.
I was impressed on how torquey was the 4G92 engine. My mom only had a similarly engined car in her 1993 Proton Wira XLi, way back years ago. Despite being a N/A car, it could still do pretty well, despite being chased by a turbo-charged car. If he were to modify his car any further, I would love to suggest that he changes it to a 4G93 block, so that the displacement could help him better when coming up the hill.
We were joined by a couple of local 2-wheeler gang, once we reached at the peak. I guess, 2 wheels or 4 wheels a like, we all liked touge-ing. On the way back, I sat in Azuri's car, all the way until the Karak Highway toll, till i switched into Mizan's Suzuki Swift, since it was 4AM in the morning and Azuri definitely needs his sleep, before the work on the following morning. Overall, I was thrilled. I guess if I had to get familiar with that place, I guess I would need as much of skill and practice like Azuri then. Then again, I believe my limiting factor to be my automatic gearbox. But oh well, I'm awaiting the next touge session
