Touge part 2 - Cameron fun with TK, Steven and Jeya

Not being a touge for very long time could rust yourself from your driving skills. In order to maintain myself where I was last at. I decided to arrange myself some touge time with TK. I told him on that specific evening, to gather as much friends as possible, so we can head up to do some training.

Did I choose the wrong day? Well, YES and NO. The best part is that I was touge-ing in pitch black. I had such experience back then while in Australia, while going through the dense forest in Arthur's Seat without proper lighting. The only sad part is that I cant drop shift as fast as manual cars going uphill. Being the lead car, it is pretty stressful. The glaring headlights at the back was really pushing me to the limit. I was hesitating heavily, as I was unable to gauge myself on the road I was doing. Obviously, I had to avoid going inside the ditch and getting a hell of a scolding from my parents.

On the side note, I really had fun. Its good to know lots of talented people attempting the great Cameron Highlands. It was good to know new people, like Jeya, Steven, Steven's girlfriend (Sim Yuen) and Leena. I hope I get to have more fun time soon.

Cameron Touge with TK (KE70), Fuji (KE70) and Steven (Gen2)

I have been deprived of 2 months of touge-ing. This is largely due to the fact that people couldn't make time or actually spend a little more money pumping petrol in their car for uphill and downhill fun. Now that petrol price has fallen about 25 cents. I guess its now even worth it to take the car to the limit again. I have not set foot on any touge expedition. Well without any further delay, I guess showing a video of our touge expedition says it all. (Sorry no recording on my side, as I lost my memory card and its rare to find RS-MMC cards nowdays). From Rawang to Tanjung Malim : Gen2 manual 1.6 modified vs Neo automatic 1.6

When I was heading back from KL to Kampar today, there was this Gen-2, that was tailgating me all the time from Sungai Buloh interchage. I decided to play with him, since I'm sure I could leave him behind. Well, I was wrong, the Gen-2 was definitely persistant. He was tailgating all the way from Rawang to Tanjung Malim. He did overtake me at Bukit Beruntung, however, his car could not tackle high speed corners more efficiently. He would actually take it at 160 km/h, while my car could handle up to 180 km/h. Most of the time, he is trailing at the back, planning to overtake me, however, the runway is too short for him to overtake, so he had no choice to stay behind me. When he managed to overtake me, I managed to skirmish through a bunch of traffic, leaving him behind. I didn't see his tail lamps anymore, from Tanjung Malim, assuming he has exited there. This is definitely the longest chase there is, spanning up to 45 minutes. I was definitely nervous and stressed up, since the Gen-2 Manual is a faster car on straights. The only way I could lose him is by strategically blocking him and taking corners fast enough to leave a gap. Oh well, it was a good experience. I did not take a pictures, since I was fully focused on the road.
