I've actually found a really rare ride that I wouldn't expect to bump in Malaysia. This car was featured in the Gran Turismo 4 video game and I did noticed the resemblance. Much of googling has led me to believe that this car is the Honda S600. I even have the much rarer variant of the two, the fastback coupe, as opposed to the convertible/hardtop. Theres only 1800 of these fastback coupe ever sold, not too sure how many of them remain and left. This car is purely orgasmic. Its redline is at 9500 RPM and could safely go up to 11000 RPM without any problems. This car is a pure mini go-cart and could join most k-car competitions without any problems.
Some facts about the S600:
* First Honda car offered in two trims
* Engine capacity 606 cc
* Horse power: 57 at 8500 rpm
* Top speed: 90 mph
* Redline: 9,500 RPM
* Carburetors: 4
* Convertible weight: 1576 pounds
* First "mass marketed" Honda car
* 11,284 built between '64 and '66

Wow.... Classic!
The body do look like it needed a lot of work to repair the rust. According to WIKI there is only 1.8k produce for coupe.
But with 57 hp it probably won't be too fast in acceleration. Although it does have a high RPM range but you must remember that the engine is considered old and may need to have full rebuilt before you can lap it to 8k RPM.
Any way I had my fun restoring my car, so you will have the same too. The plus side is you are more loaded than me so budget is not a concern factor which is the limit in my case :)....
(I do wonder if you wiold bring it to the touge for fresh air)
well vince, power to rate ratio wise, 57hp on a 750kg is enough to smoke my neo, lol! especially in touge, its so much flexible than the neo, being a small car!
which car did u restored bro? im heading to kedah to get the car tommorow, lol, if u itchy handed nothing better to do, call me, 018-2002883. u can just follow my car, haha
My one is just SR4 Honda Civic. Thanks for the invite but i am working today. So have fun restoring, once it is almost ready it is very satisfying. I say almost because you will continue to improve every little bit of detail on the car every now and then. Can never finish restoring and improving. Trust me, it is FUN!
Nice car bro. Plonk in a K20A in it. Hahahaha.....just joing la bro.
A friend of mine have the Honda 1300. That's an air cooled engine. Damn rare.
Awesome... And being an NA fan, I just love the redline figure!!!
Anyway, good luck and perseverence throughout the rebuild and restoring process. You're gonna need it. Every restorer does.
