Mercedes Benz W115 200

I've spotted this pretty neat condition W115 from my dad's friend garage in Kampar. It's a pretty good condition Mercedes-Benz. One thing for sure, you can tell the interior is still intact and theres little sign of rusts. Not much 200s are available in Malaysia and most of the diesel equilavents, 240D are diesel and normally used as taxis between Kampar and other towns. I'd probably convince the owner to sell it or pass it to me, once he gives up this baby due to old age or his departure from earth (LOL). He only has a daughter, which already has Perodua Myvi, I doubt a classic car would be any use for her daughter. If the deal is good, I'd get it for one of my Wedding cars

Hehe, 115, it's pretty rare nowadays, my aunt is still driving a pretty mint one around too! I like the unorthodox fuel cap located beside the rear number plate! Anyway, maybe you should go one up and get one of those old Benz with Batman fins at the rear!!

i assume u meant the merc pontoons (W108). those are awesome too, but even harder to find. a fellow friend of mine has that. those belong to the 1960s. but yes, i just only noticed the fuel cap at the back, haha, amazing eyes u have for cars mate

Nope, I meant the W110 and W111 models :) I've seen my aunt's W115 many times, so I'd better know where the fuel cap is!

I own a W108 and there is another one in Mambang Diawan maintained in superb condition. The last fintail taxi plate AK XXXX was missing from town for a while. I heard that it was sold for only RM3,800. Saw this W115 in New Wah Loong area. Pontoons W180 are all gone by now. My father used to own two units. One was previously owned by the late P. Patto from DAP if I am not mistaken. There are still a few W115 diesel taxis around. I might try to find one and convert to use biodiesel. Cheers!
