Good day, bad night!

This evening, I proposed to TK that we went up Cameron and that I sit his car for the first time. Everything went accordingly. The only thing was that we all panicked when an Evo 8 sped past us at the double lane entry point of the touge. We were supposed to stop and attach the video camera to the rollcage, but since we all got pressured, I decided to be the sacrificial lamb and held my 2 hands tight on the JVC video camera. The DVD video camera is good, except I've zoomed out a little too much, causing the video to be kind of slow. I'm sorry, but this is my first time holding the video camera when going uphill in someones car! I will perfect it next time.

I honestly didn't expect TK was able to chase that car, despite 1 minute start off difference. Damn, I was definitely shocked. I seriously think TK did not go all out when he was chasing me anyways. Haha, I guess these last moves were reserved for really really fast cars. So yeah, it was a great achievement for the TK's car. (I only posted up the Evo chase part, in respect of TK's wish)

Well, I decided to go touge again this time, since TK lured me with Felix, Boy and TK himself going up hill. I took my own sweet time to drive up there, knowing the guys would be late anyways. When I reached at the foot hill of Cameron Highlands, I was waiting for them. Suddenly, when idling, I noticed my car was having problems trying to maintain its RPM and the car shut off by itself. I was worried, so I decided to shut off the car and start up again. I tried to start and it works, but it would die again. I thought this problem occured when I put the car on N instead of P. So I tried P later on, it seem to have idled a couple of minutes before it died. Then, I took the initiative to trouble-shoot in my mind and see what's wrong. I realised my water temp went sky-high red. Shortly, TK and boy arrived. He came in front of my car and noticed my car was steaming hot. Other than that, there was some radiator coolant leaking on the road. Damn, now I am so worried if I have busted my radiator, which I hope not.

Whilst I thought I could let my mind off the troubles I will face at home later, I decided to follow TK in his car, going up hill in his TK. He is definitely fast, much faster than this morning. Since, it was in the dark, I could not see anything, but I could feel him countering every corner almost perfectly, despite that he have night vision problems. Suddenly, 3/4 of the touge, we heard some loud banging noise on the car. We kept on hearing it when TK decided to take corners hard. He was worried the LSD or something might have broken. Well, we stopped at the midpoint. I realised I dropped my torchlight in the car. I thought that was the problem, but when we went downhill, the car started rattling again. I was worried that the bracket would snap and I would have a sudden free-fall and being thrown off the front window. Haha. TK was pissed today, since I could not go fast and having some annoying problems like this. Nevertheless, Boy is fast in my opinion.

Well, today is definitely not my day. On the way home, I thought I will call my tow truck. I thought Uni-asia would cover up to 100km, but I was wrong, LOL! It only covered 50km and RM100 worth of towing and thats it. The total quotation after discount with the sales rep and the tow truck owners only bring it down to RM120. That means I have to cough up RM20, which is not good, since my wallet is all tight. Oh well, so I decided to drive home safely, despite TK told me not to. I was cruising slowly, at 60kmh at first. There seemed to be no increase in temperature. Then I went up to 90kmh and slowly 110kmh. There was no problems at all, even when I was idling at the traffic lights at Gopeng. I suppose this could be a leaked hose for my radiator, which I hope is true. Anyhows, definitely not my night, but it was fun to sit in TK's car over and over again.

Haha I think you got me wrong, since the whole clip looked really slow, I wanted a short vid of the Evo chase on a dvd, so I don't have to scroll to the end :P Feel free to post whatever you desire :)

Boy's car was fast, but I am confident that with good lights, we could put up a good fight... It was too bad that the seat broke and we couldn't see shit in the dark :(

Thanks for coming and recording anyway!
